What size do I need?

As a general rule the va rating of a transformer can be compared to as watts, so as an example if you have 1 x 50w lamp then you would need a 60va transformer, or 2 x 50w lamps you would need a 105va transformer, it is always a good idea to get a transformer that is slightly bigger than you need, this will increase the life of it.
