The VL1 works Day or Night. Stores a maximum of 2560 images, or 512 ten second video clips on a 1Gb SD card (512MB supplied) it only records when there is movement, once the card is full it will start back at the beginning so there's no need to keep checking the card, the only time you need to remove it is if you need to view the contents of the card, there is also a USB connector to link it directly to a computer.


Built in LCD display for easy programming, each picture is time and date stamped which is needed in case of a prosecution.

Using a larger memory card will extend the amount of images/video that can be stored on the camera before having to download them. The camera will automatically start recording over the oldest images once the memory card has reached its limit. In particularly busy environments where a lot of images will be expected or in situations where the camera may be left for long periods the use of a larger capacity memory card is advantageous
